This is gun owners response to the would be gun grabbers. Come and get them! The phrase is made famous from King Leonidas response to the Persian kings demand that the Spartans lay down their arms at Thermopylae. The rest is history. While all 300 Spartans died the three days they bought Athens provided time to prepare for and ultimately defeat the Persian King (whose name escapes me at the moment). However this was possibly the most significant battle in history as had the Spartans surrendered Athenians might not have been able to prepare and a defeat of the Greek Kingdoms at that point in history might have aborted the Golden Age of Greece which led to Rome and hence might have completely prevented what we refer to as Western Civilization. To many of us we see our current circumstance in similar light, for if the U.S. is truly the last best hope then we must be prepared to make the same sacrifice the Spartans did. Μολὼν λάβε
