Former GOP presidential nominee John McCain on Thursday named fellow Arizona Senator Jon Kyl as a potential 2012 presidential candidate.
Asked on CNNs Larry King Live if he plans to support Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in the Republican presidential primaries, McCain said it would be improper to commit now because I dont know whos running, for one thing, because, for example, my friend Jon Kyl, my colleague from Arizona.
McCain then trailed off, appearing as if he had accidentally floated Kyls name.

“Kyl is third in senator minority leadership”
There is a reason we have only elected one Senator since 1964 to be President. And we will have that reason proven to us once again over the next four years. Running folks out of the legislative branch of government is a mistake. I am not dissing John Kyl or his positions, but Zero can drive this nation into the ground, and there are still going to be a guaranteed 24 million african americans showing up to vote in 2012 and 99% of them for Obama.
In order for there to be a conservative victory, that is our starting point, -24,000,000. The next question is, who can bring out some percentage of new voters along with angry conservatives to overcome this “dafacit” Right now, you would have to say that Sarah Palin is the only Republican that even has a chance. I’m not saying that won’t change over the next 2.5 years, but right now that is reality.
“Besides, Republicans will never nominate a woman. Voters would rather have a black man as president than a woman. Just ask Hillary.”
Well, considering your tag, you are familiar with expecting to “lose” (GO BRAVES and GO FALCONS!!!) Obama won the Dem Primary thru manipulation of the primary system, using carcasses to overcome popular vote. As for the general election, people will vote for someone with a plan over someone with no plan and no ability to articulate it, every single time. With Obama’s desire to repeat the disastrous ideas of the Clinton administration, the public is quickly going to descend into Obama Fatigue.
I sincerely hope he and his administration continue to parrot the idea that having children costs the government too much money. Democrats are the party of Disenfranchisement, Defeat, and Death. The more times this is made clear the better.
.
An endorsement from McCain is a sure “kiss of death.” No thanks! If I were John Kyl, I’d distance myself from Juan McInsane as far as I could, lest he (Kyl) become another RINO...if he’s not one already.
Kyl is a POS for joining Insane McCain in his quest for the "more perfect" amnesty.
McLost is the gift that..........can never get returned.
That’s cool. I think I’ll make one like that out of cement.
“Seriously, wtf is McCain high on???”
Alas, McCain is naturally a moron.
Absolutely brilliant!!!!
Couldn’t talk you into getting one of mine? :)
I used to think of him as my "good" senator too and you are correct about his ACU rating. However there are two issues which IMO can destroy the United States of America: Amnesty and this stinking bailout. Senator Kyl has not only voted for both, he was one of the primary movers on both issues.
IOW he votes pro America almost all the time and does a very good job of answering people who vote the other way.
Unfortunately on the two issues that could destroy our country, he votes against our country. The rest of the time he's terrific...
I like Kyl, one of my favorite senators, but I agree with you that I don’t want, and will not support, any senator for the nomination. For 2012, I like Palin, Sanford and Daniels among the GOP governors.
The fact that he didn't win.
