The Kennedy family is seeking revenge against New York Gov. David Paterson for his treatment of Caroline Kennedy during her aborted bid for the senate seat vacated by Hillary Clinton, the New York Post reported
"The governor's going to pay for this," a prominent Democrat told the New York Post. "Ted is furious. The family is furious. The Kennedys are now against the governor."

Patterson was in a pickle anyway....if he chooses Caroline then he risked the ire of the voters. And since he did not pick Caroline now he contends with the media and the Kennedy’s. It was a ‘Pick your poison’ scenario...
