Obama's plan would buy votes for the Democrat Party, in the same way FDR's New Deal established majority power for 50 years of Democrat rule, and it would also simultaneously seriously damage any hope of future tax cuts. It would allow a majority of American voters to guarantee no taxes for themselves going forward. It would burden the private sector and put the public sector in permanent and firm control of the economy.

I believe Obama's plan is beyond FDR, who socialized part of the government. Obama wants to fully socialize what's left; if they don't comply, they will be litigated off the continent.

At least FDR had a war and recognized the enemy as the enemy. Obama is hoisting the white flag to terrorism while posing Limbaugh and his republicans as the enemy.

There is also the factor of the greatly decentralized structure of communications today as opposed to FDR’s day when there was a monolithic national structure of telecommunications that will never be seen again.
