I think when a President of the U.S. starts telling people not to listen to his critics it is a huge jump toward totalitarianism.
I heard parts of an account of a dinner interview between Obama and some female press person. She was groveling and licking his toes, but he was complaining that cartoonists were portraying him with big ears and this made him feel dissed and insecure...he thought it was unfair and they shouldn’t do this.
