Gillibrand was re-elected to a second term in the sprawling 20th District by a comfortable margin. To do so, she has taken some conservative positions, including on gun rights.

Her voting record says otherwise.

The ACU says GIllabrand has an 8% conservative voting record.

I read that she has an “A” rating from the NRA “. That’s a positive.

What does the ACU's rating have to do with whether she's conservative or not? The ACU ratings are goofy, using a few selective votes (often multiple ones on same issue), and sometimes grading big-government positions as "correct" ones. It no longer is a reliable measure.
