I don’t get the golf analogy.

I would have better luck with my putter than my sand wedge from the rough.

Believe me, Lucius, I know what you're saying- I have the blood of Borgia's in my veins. _:)

1. But, where was O'Reilly (or any of them) on the birth certificate, the drugs, the Chicago connections? No where. Now, this woman WITHDRAWS, and then he outs her. For what? We're beating up on an absolute nobody here, and for no political purpose.

2. Look at Livingston, Foley, Newt, Nixon, Proxmire--on and on. When Pubs get humiliated, they leave the stage because they have some sense of honor. Do you think if Kennedy still wanted the Senator's job, or was going to get it, Patterson or the Dems would have given 2 hoots about an affair? We can't beat them on this level, because they have no sense of shame. Really. How do you embarrass a Bill Clinton????

We have to get practical. This namby-pamby stuff isn't going to change anything- we have to be here, imho.

I was there (#248). Your idea is interesting, but not yet timely IMHO. Meantime a Borgia should know the value in not being thought weak politically.

I was remarking to those who think she looks ‘old’.

Her life and times would make anyone look old.

Nope. As bad as the Clinton’s are, they’re pikers compared to the Kennedy’s.

They are Stalinists. They will lie to your face and feign concern about scandals that in truth mean nothing to them. It’s one reason they like to out homosexual Republicans. They know it will turn off the conservative base (especially if they make up details like child molestation as they did in the case of Mark Foley) whereas in any other circumstance “outing” a homosexual is considered an abuse of civil rights and sexual harassment.

Whether she is or isn’t, it’s none of his business.

Are you that disappointed the CK will not be Senator?

Not at all. The next choice “seems” more conservative.

He emphatically stated that this was a rumor.

Then,Bill shouldn't be repeating rumors, but reporting facts.

Sigh. When she does something to be critized then I’ll do so. She seemed not to really care if she got this or not so I suspect she was tapped and then told they wanted someone else. Who knows?

Hmmm...as my mom would say: "A cup for every saucer."

What does NOT make sense, though, is how vicious the Times was when it reported on the interview they had with her. They REALLY killed her (not that she didn't deserve it).
