Well I for one would not doubt that the article is correct but I have no comment on the reliability of Unification Church being I know little about them.

According to different news reports I have seen in the past though it is not only a handful of weirdos in Sweden though who are involved in bestiality but that there has been a growing number of people with some calling it an epidemic.

Of course we are always told by the left that our sexual “orientation” or preferences are 100% set at birth so how can it be? Where all of these people just repressing their sexual desire for animals?

Sweden is a leftwing cesspool in regards to socialism and sexuality and is an example of what happens when immorality is made a protected right by the state and taught as such.

"According to the Swedish Animal Welfare Agency, 115 cases of bestiality were reported in the years 2000 to 2005."

Hardly an "epidemic"

The number you tout is only made from a questionairre and hardly represents the full scope but yet it still showed an increase from only 3 or so cases being reported in previous studys.

Here read something a little more recent:

Sweden urged to ban animals sex after newspaper expose on bestiality -

I’ve read it. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t advocate bestiality, but the increase shown from the previous studies probably represent something else:

“In the period 2000 to 2004, 119 cases of bestiality were documented, compared to just three known cases in the 1970s, 17 in the 1980s and 70 in the 1990s.

But the author of the report, Katarina Andersson, said that the rise in documented cases did not necessarily mean that there was a de facto increase.

‘We know that there must be cases that have not been documented,’ she said, adding that people have also become more aware of the problem in recent years and are therefore more likely to report suspected cases to the authorities.”

Well then if you already read the artcle I posted and you are not an advocate of bestiality being legal then why are you only pulling up quotes from those who favor keeping it legal? In the article that I had posted and you claimed to already have read it cites things that dispute claims such as you have posted. It also points out that there are people who do not want bestiality criminalized. Why do you lean towards posting quotes that agrue towards leaving it bestiality laws this way?

You guys are ruining the fun of learning putonghua... half of my motivation is that so few meiguoren can speak it! Now it’s not nearly as cool to me, since one small thread on Sweden finds three of us in just 33 minutes! *sigh*

Sorry, but my Chinese is limited to “hello”, “want/don’t want”, “beer”, and “thank you”. I got by just fine by pointing and using a calculator (until I got to a place where they’d never seen one). In out of the way places where they don’t see white folk (big noses) you can attract a crowd - but the people I met were unfailingly warm and polite. It makes me ashamed when I see the way many Americans treat “strangers”.

Interesting... my first 3 phrases were hello, goodbye, and exceuse me. Not much of a drinker, but I make plenty of social errors, LOL. I LOVE getting out of the cities... and I think I do a darn good job of trying to be a good host to new arrivals from China!
