Caroline Kennedy has told Gov. Paterson that she is withdrawing her name from consideration to replace Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate, The Post has learned.

Did it get, you know, a little too tough, you know, for Princess Caroline? She’s never had to work for a damn thing in her entire spoiled privileged life, so its no surprise to me that she bailed when things got tough.

I think it was a party decision. Cuomo is much stronger and Paterson knows it. But it wouldn’t surprise me if he puts in someone VERY unexpected..
