I’d say The Messiah didn’t pay much attention to how the last Democrat administration started off, nor what resulted 24 months later - the loss of the House of Representatives for the first time in over 40 years.

No kidding. Gay marriage has been a poisonous issue for Democrats. We can only hope that Obama pushes these issues in his first months in office.

Now, if they will only come after our guns.....

Hopefully, Obama will ignore the example of the gun-friendly Democrat governors who have been elected in places like Virginia. But, I doubt he will- his political background is very far removed from that experience.

Bottom line is political opportunity is going to be there for the Republicans to capitalize on.
