The new BSG has its moments, but it is boring as all feminine things are. I’m suprised that the show just doesn’t end with everyone just giving up and taking a handful of tranquilizers.

Besides no one really wants to live save for a few episodes that focus on some nihilistic sexual relations. The comments on the SciFi channel’s bulletin boards elicit about a 50/50 split agreeing in part with Mr. Benedict’s assesment.

You obviously didn't watch last Friday's show (first of final ten episodes). They might be done cleaning Dee's brains off the wall by now.

The first two seasons of BSG 2.0 were great. Then it went weird, liberal and spiritual. The politics of the Hollywood types caused it to jump shark badly and the Starbuck character jumped it the worst of all.
After the first episode of the fourth season I should note that every female character with the exception of a little girl and commander Cain has attempted or succeeded in committing suicide. Some of them several times (The Cylons come back but its the thought that counts). And Cain just stood their while her lesbo girlfriend blew her brains out. The men are too wimpy (Apollo, Gaeta, the Chief), drunk (Tigh, Adama) or confused (Baltar, Zarek, Agathon) to take such definitive action.

And the problem is that if they did, I wouldn't care because none of the characters are worth caring about at this point. It's like they populated the show with the people who would have been put on Golgafrincham Ark Fleet, Ship B.
