I feel compelled to smell the sour milk. I must do it.
Might as well have a place to vent.
Although I hope somewhere there will be a tape of Bush leaving on the plane. I'd like to see the military salute him.
Don’t know. See link in post #134.
If I didn’t have to go to work, I’d be out watching the street lights change.
What exchange and why was it awkward? (Some of us aren’t watching.)
I will read the speech but not photo deification for me.
I heard he was walking across the Potomac River. . . after he turns it into wine.
I live an hour and a half from DC, my kids were home yesterday (MLK Observance) and they’re home today as well. I’ve got the TV on FoxNews watching the festivities, much as it’s turning my stomach.
CSPAN 2 has coverage without the media gushfest commentaries.
I can’t take it anymore.
Walked into my secretary’s office where she was mumbling into the phone about “end of an error.”
I commented to her that Jan 20, 2013 would be the end of an error.
She replied to “suck it up like we had to the last 8 years.”
BDS continues, even though he’s leaving. Do we really expect Zer0 to be a “uniter?” I wonder what the chances will be that people like this change their tone over the next couple of years.
I called QVC this morning to complain about their coverage of the Immaculation. I’ve shopped with them for years and they’ve always been my one little respite from politics. I told the operator as much and was expecting some snide disapproval. Much to my surprise, she said they’ve been receiving tons of phone calls just like mine.
There are people like us out there everywhere, they just don’t have the press coverage.
Not for most people - the delusion is too strong, and they have not ears to hear, nor eyes to see. Instead, there will be a bit of celebration over the counterfeit “resurrection.” Of course, that celebration won’t compare to the party that will take place after those 3 “agitators” are done away with over in Israel!
We had those curtains back in the 70’s.
I believe that is less than charitable. We’re better than that.
That dress certainly is superior to that black widow spider thing.
Just to be fair. Far better.
no big deal, it was just when the Obamas arrived at the White House and were greeted by the Bushes, they all looked stiff and weird like somebody farted. David Gergen on CNN is analyzing the smell for us now...
I actually told my granddaughter (8 year old conservative) as I sent her off to school that I hope she got to watch. .... I know all the reasons to be frightened of the O but this is the peaceful transfer of power and is rare in time and place. And we do have John Roberts.
bttt!
are those the sames drapes Hillary was clinging on to 8 years ago?
“Just to be fair. Far better”
Agreed. But it’s still bad.
Oh the celebrities get staged seats ,where the common people have to stand in the cold for hours...what fools
LOL !
