If he is a Dem he will be eligible for the congressional medal of honor ~ starting tomorrow.
Can’t you all understand that this is a personal matter, and he needs to get back to the work that the people of Portland hired him to do?
My searching does not find a political affiliation. However, knowing Portland (which is a bad as SF for sexual deviancy) I would bet he’s a Democrat. It appears that city elections are “non-partisan” which means a political party is not declared.
If he was a Republican it would have been in the headline.
