Canada turns him back, but our university system takes him in. Speaks volumes about what is wrong with our country at this point in history.

Ain’t this something:
A former domestic terrorist who’s not wanted in Canada, but is welcome in the U.S. White House.
Have we really sunk so low?

"To imagine in any way he was a threat to Canada is really absurd."
Maybe it's partial payback for poor decision making in the past.

I thought our allies were supposed to suddenly love us now! ROFL!
To: bergmeid
Yes, keep him out. He is a threat. He is a threat to your children who attend university. That is what he is good at... influencing the youth for evil. Good going, Canucks. eh.

Actually, many of Ayers' colleagues ended up hiding in Canada after the dirty deeds were done in the 1960s and 1970s. I'm sure the Canadians would prefer that the USA keep its garbage at home.

I read a while back that Canada refuses entry to those with criminal records — which includes DUIs.

I'm sorry for all the mean things I said about...what's that country? Oh, yeah...Canada. Your flag is attractive and your actors are interesting. Also, I guess beige isn't such a bad color.
Go Canada!
