I live near Chicago, and, last April, a conservative veteran, I know, said that he went to Washington, DC, with some other Illinois veterans, to try to meet all of the Illinois congressmen. When they went to Obama’s office, Obama was busy campaigning. His foreign policy legislative aide said, “If Obama becomes president, he won’t withdraw all troops from Iraq quickly. He’ll consider the advice of the majority of the generals and admirals.” Obama said that he would withdraw our troops because he knew that would help him win the election. Many liberals will be disappointed when we still have troops there, next month.
