Great photo. I hope Obama lives up to the highest ideals set for the office.
But I’m not holding my breath.

Jesus said very plainly Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning Lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: watch! Israel being gathered from among the nations, and made a nation once again Travel and knowledge will be greatly increased Global real-time communications will become a reality World-wide falling away from the church, and at the same time an outpouring of the Holy Spirit A developing one-world political and economic system, to be headed by a world ruler (the anti-christ) Rebuilding of the Jewish Temple (destroyed since 70 A.D.) Finally - people scoffing at the notion of end times, saying "where is the promise of His coming? (2 Peter 3:3-4)

Is it normal to already have an official portrait before taking the oath of office? I thought that came at the end of the term ... like W’s.

Thanks for taking away the nasty taste.

What is the other flag, behind him?
It's the flag of the Office of the President.

I want a do-over. It is awful. I don’t like it. His expression is all wrong and he’s off-center (okay, no jokes, please). It’s terrible. DO-OVER!

I think an offical portrait in necessary to hang in all government buildings during the President's term.

Needs a retake. Kinda look likes he scowling at you, like you didn’t pay enough taxes or something.

1st Background is cluttered and a horrible color for his skin tone
2nd There is an odd darker brown line from one smile line to the other
3rd One eye seems to be bigger than the other
4th The pupil on our left is larger than the other
5th The picture is off center. The cutoff of one shoulder creates an uncomfortable balance.
6th The picture is too cold - as in excessive blues and green.
7th The choice of blue suit, blue tie, and blue shirt along with the background accents the blue in his lips.
If this is someone's idea of a quality portrait, then his folks are going to produce some GREAT pics for us to make fun of in the future.

Is it normal to already have an official portrait before taking the oath of office? I thought that came at the end of the term ... like Ws. That's the official portrait that is painted. The official photograph is the one that is used all over various government offices and publications. But yes, the painting comes at the end of their term.
