When the Senate Judiciary Committee questioned Eric Holder, the media ignored his personal ideological activism. NewBusters Tim Graham recently wrote about how differently the media treated John Ashcroft’s confirmation as opposed to Holder's.
Silence and the media are going hand in hand with the Holder confirmation. The mainstream media is not going after Holder in regards to his involvement with the Marc Rich and FALN pardons, for example.
The mainstream media also claimed that Ashcroft would put ideology over his duties at the Department of Justice. Here are some clips from columnists at a PBS Online Newshour segment during Ashcroft’s 2001 confirmation hearing:

Gad, I had forgotten about that. The lib/dems applied a relgion test to Ashcroft back then....despite the fact that it’s unconstitutional.

America Newspapers and Media are all part of the propaganda machine. If you watch the tv media closely, all they do is read from the teleprotor machine. It’s all controlled; even the voting machines. Hitler couldn’t do a better job with the technology they have today.

No demonizing photos of Eric Holder on the cover(s) of Time or Newsweek.
And no discussion in the media either. At yesterday’s hearing, Holder couldn’t even come out in support of state’s 2nd Amendment rights.
He was confused by the hypothetical of federal legislation that would encroach on state carry laws.
The Senator’s reply to that was, “Thank you. That’s not the answer I was looking for.”
And you know the media has ignored all of it: the terrorist pardons, the circumventing of the pardon process for the scum Marc Rich, the abduction of Elian Gonzalez with a local judge’s re: not Federal, warrant.
Jeff Sessions on the other hand, the Hon. Senator from Alabama is an American hero. I’m convinced of it, especially after his tireless work fighting Shamnesty.

Arlen Specter has an article in the WSJ about the regulation that Halder put in place to bully industry executives that facilitates excessive government interference in private industry.
The Omedia excepts liberal extremism as normal, because they see themselves as the marker of normal. Why would they go after Holder’s normal, political ideologies? If there is a revolution in Omerica, the freedom fighters better go after the Omedia members first, including their artsy trash in Hollywood. With the propagandists out of the way, the Democrats will fall apart. For that matter, the RNC, or whatever organization conservatives choose to use for 2010 and 2012, should make the Omedia the primary target of the campaigns.
