I am old enough to recall what good shape Ricardo Montalban kept himself in and that he would accept wearing such a device would be totally out of character for him.

Years ago I saw an outtake of Montalban in a Maxwell House Coffee Commercial. In the spot he was supposed to smell the aroma of the coffee, sip it and say how wonderful it was.
He smelled the cup of coffee and said “This Maxwell House coffee is...” then he took a sip and yelled, “yikes...it’s too f——ing hot!!” It was very funny.

Is Clint really quite that old? I suppose he is... I’d guess he is about 75. Lemme check... ok, he’s 78. He’s got 10 years to make it to Ricardo’s age of passing.

Yes, both he and his wife were devote Catholics. His wife Georgiana was Loretta Young's sister. She died in November of 2007.
