A teacher who has sex with an 18 year old should be fired, but should not be criminally charged since no crime took place.
If it is in his empolyment contract that he is unable to have sex with current students, then I would agree it should cost him his job.
I’m guessing we’re in the minority here (I really hope not) but come on you can’t criminalize sex between consenting adults especially for one partner only. How ridiculous. The DAs wasted there time pursing this case. Fire hire yes, (he quit) take away his teaching license if you want but you can’t make it crime for a 30-something year old to have consensual sex with an 18-year old.
