Clinton acted on concerns of husbands donors
The Associated Press
Tue, Jan 13, 2009 (12:42 a.m.)
Secretary of State appointee Hillary Rodham Clinton intervened at least six times in government issues directly affecting companies and others that later contributed to her husband's foundation, an Associated Press review of her official correspondence found.
The overlap of names on former President Bill Clinton's foundation donor list and business interests whose issues she championed raises new questions about potential ethics conflicts between her official actions and her husband's fundraising. The AP obtained three of the senator's government letters under the Freedom of Information Act.
Clinton was to begin her confirmation hearing Tuesday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Under an agreement with President-elect Barack Obama, Bill Clinton recently released the names of donors to his foundation, a nonprofit that has raised at least $492 million _ including millions from foreign governments _ to fund his library in Little Rock, Ark., and charitable efforts worldwide on such issues as AIDS, poverty and climate change.
The letters and donations involve pharmaceutical companies and telecommunications and energy interests. An aide to the senator said she made no secret of her involvement in many of the issues. Bill Clinton's foundation declined to say when it received the donations or precisely how much was contributed.

How does Huma Abedin afford a $650,000 condo in DC on the $26,000 you pay her to schelp your luggage around? Is she a spy for the Suadi or Iran?
I don’t know if the long arm of the law will ever catch up with America’s First Grifters, but nature certainly has. His face, her thighs. And never the twain shall meet.
She sure as heck doesn’t have a ‘portrait in the attic’!
Clinton to lobby for Kosovo separatists
January 5, 2009 12:56 pm
Former US President Bill Clinton is set to lobby world leaders to have them recognize the Albanian separatist government of Kosovo as an independent state, reports Albanian separatist media in Kosovo.
Albanian separatist paper Koha Ditore says that Bill Clinton will be joined in the lobby effort by the Austrian Albert Rohan.
Rohan was an assistant to the Finnish diplomat Marti Ahtasaari who wrote a plan calling for a supervised independence of Serbias Kosovo province.
Clinton promised that he will lobby the largest Muslim country, Indonesia, to have them recognize Kosovo.
German diplomat, Wolfgang Ischinger, will also join this effort.
Clinton has promised that he will lobby other countries and has promised results.
Clinton bombed Serbia in 1999 claiming that Serbia was committing genocide of Albanians in Kosovo. Nine years later, there are virtually no Serbs left in the province.
A helper in the separatist government in Kosovo, Fljora Citaku, said that the separatists have made a list of countries that need to be lobbied for recognition.
She declined to name which politicians will be hired to lobby for their recognition. Citaku did not specify whether Clinton or anyone else will be paid money and how much.
Bill Clintons wife, Hillary, is set to become a new Secretary of State under the President-elect Barack Obama.

Jim Levin, a Chicago scumbag who defrauded the Chicago school system and who owes 700K in child support, was a 200K+ donor to the Lie-Brary. Why does he get away with it? How about this. As the famed strip club owner and “lap dance provider to the president,” he has a little black book with all the names of the girls and the Dem politicians he arranged to service them. That is pretty strong blackmail, huh?
Rules, laws, ethics, integrity and morality do not apply anymore.
Very few have guilt, shame, or regret for anything they do.
The only time they express sorrow is when they get caught and then they are only sorry they got caught.
There is little acceptance of responsibility or consequence for one’s actions from the schools to the street and all the way to Congress and the White House.
It is what they teach in school and what they do in our courts and legislatures.
Even the Supreme Court is more concerned with feelings and political correctness than with the US Constitution and the law of the land.
The only difference between the Clintons and most others in postitions of power and authority is that they are more overt about their greed, corruption and lust for power. They only try to cover up or appear repentant when it is unavoidable.
MAN! She is even starting to LOOK like Madeline Albright! YUK!
Your post sums it up well.
So Bill and W see the “Klieg Lights” differently, I see.
strangly, I cannot find a real time thread on Hillary’d confirmation
The lovefest being televised is telling a story about a woman that I’ve heard of...
It’s eerie how Chelsea resembles Web Hubbell.
Everyone in and out of the Democratic Party, that's who. The only problem is being a crook is a resume enhancer these days. Shame is dead.
But if I were you I wouldn't be blaming the Dems either. It is my stupid neighbors who keep voting for these bums. We get what we deserve.
If you think the Clinton administration was corrupt, just wait. You aint seen nothin’ yet!
Even more eerie is how much The One resembles Malcolm X.
Sharon Theimer, who did this story for the AP and is at the hearings now, has been sent an email with a wealth of evidence. Will she report it? Probably not.

How was it possible for a strip club owner in Chicago, who was called the “lap dance provider to the president” and who ripped off the Chicago school system for millions of dollars (he is not incarcerated) to give over 200K to the Clinton Library when he owed 700K in child support? Just asking.
Why is he not in jail? Well, how about because he has a little black book of girls and the Dem bigwigs who were serviced by those girls. That is the ultimate GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD, isn’t it?
my thoughts exactly ...
