From what I’ve read it is a result of rampant ignorance poverty and a feeling of no path out of such.
And it is all the fault of the Jews, America in particular and the West in general.
All make for easy recruiting in these places.

“And it is all the fault of the Jews, America in particular and the West in general. All make for easy recruiting in these places.”

Say what? All the fault of the Jews...now, that’s not a generalization or anything...tsk, tsk. Let’s just see how you’d react if you were taking incoming rockets to the schools and daycares in your town - injuring and killing innocent civilians. Do you suppose you’d demand official action? Come on Joe. Then all the arm chair quarterbacks could blame whatever your nationality is on the resulting imbroglio.

Do you really trust in Hamas’ motives here? Have you read what their official stances are? These are stances despite anything that Israel may concede to do for them or the “Arab street.” The Arab street should have lost all of our respect when it was revealed that 25% of England’s Muslim population “sympathized” with the tube killers in 2005. What?! Is that the Arab street that we’re supposed to respect. Stand up to this brutish, worship death attitude and if Islam wants to re-cast itself, they jolly well better get to it. The moderates in that religion have let themselves be taken over by a bunch of Al Capone type thugs. So if Israel is forced to play the role of Elliott Ness, are you really going to blame *them* for that?
