WASHINGTON -- President-elect Barack Obama said Friday his administration would not compromise its ideals to fight terrorism, and he has told his new intelligence chiefs that he expects the Geneva Conventions to be honored.
"I was clear throughout this campaign and was clear throughout this transition that under my administration the United States does not torture," Obama said, when asked at the news conference whether he would continue a policy of harsh interrogation. "We will abide by the Geneva Conventions. We will uphold our highest ideals."

That is more than just your opinion. The clear wording of the GC says it only applies to uniformed troops of a recognized nation. I like your idea of a garrote made of pig intestines. A little bacon grease incorporated into all of our munitions would suit me.
Bacon grease is highly flammable so how about making an air burst bomb with it? Detonate over those terrorist funeral celebrations. The bacon grease would get dispersed in a fine mist with a secondary charge to ignite it. Hog napalm.
What about enhanced interrogation?? such as panties over the head etc.
I like the mini series Deadwood. I like the idea of Woo’s pig sty. Line a bunch of muslims up to watch their fellow terrorists get eaten alive by the pigs. We don’t torture...the pigs do it all for us. Plus no mess to clean up. I bet they would talk after that.
That’s too bad.
Using torture puts us in such good company: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7820069.stm

Sounds good to me!
Sounds like take no prisoners to me.
I'm sure our deadly enemies will appreciate the kind thoughts and now spill their guts.
I guess not. However since terrorists have no rules why should we? I don’t believe in trying to be fair to people who have no intention of doing anything but kill us...
Does this mean he will stop speaking publicly?
