I would be interested in listening to an intelligent liberal (if they could find one) opposite Hannity, for some genuine debate and insight

Ann Coulter appeared on Fox and Friends this morning.
Here Is The Video
Not only did she talk about her book, but she also commented on important political issues such as Senator Reid not wanting to seat a Black Senator, but will seat Al Franken who saw to it that votes were changed and added until the outcome favored him as the winner.

I just saw her on CBS - she certainly has mastered the art of continuing to finish making her point as her gracious hosts try to cut her off.
She staunchly stands her ground, although I cant help but think just a tad of humility could be thrown into the mix.
I think that a show of humility would be seen as weakness and a chance for the liberal hosts to throw in more of their tangental comments.
In fact, here is one of the comments posted about her and Harry:
Forcing humility on someone will not produce it.
Naturally, there are some pretty snarky comments as well as some good ones on the video page linked below.

Coulter: "I Think I'll Accept And Then Cancel At The Last Minute"
The newest chapter in the NBC-Ann Coulter feud didn't even take a day to develop. Coulter appeared tonight on FNC's "Hannity & Colmes" to promote her new book, and the very first question from Sean Hannity related to the NBC cancellation.
"I know the whole thing was a set up to block me from other TV shows," said Coulter, who said she was "very upset about this."
She also said "I love you, Harry Smith" while promoting her CBS' The Early Show appearance. "I think if my book does well I can buy NBC," said Coulter.
Earlier this evening NBC told TVNewser they had offered Coulter a segment on Wednesday's show, but it didn't sound like she'd be showing up. "I think I'll accept and then cancel at the last minute," she said.
Alan Colmes took NBC's side. "Isn't there like a war going on in the Mideast?" he asked. "Isn't it sometimes you re-book guests because of a war going on?"

NewsBusters this time:
Harry Smith Calls Coulter Goofy, Simplistic, Whining and Sophomoric
By Noel Sheppard (

January 6, 2009 - 11:09 ET
CBS's Harry Smith interviewed Ann Coulter on the "Early Show" Tuesday, and it was clear from the start the co-host had no interest in hiding his disdain for the conservative author.
In fact, he was downright rude from beginning to end referring to her as "a whiner," "goofy," "simplistic," and "sophomoric."
After his introduction of Coulter and her new book "Guilty," Smith said
You know what? You want to be taken seriously. I think, I sense that. Right?
Is that the way to begin an interview with one of America's leading political authors? But that was just the beginning, because this was his next question:
Here's my problem: Because you try to be funny, because you have this kind of sophomoric sort of simplistic kind of view of so many things, the points that should be taken seriously, this whole section on single-motherhood would be, could, should be part of the American conversation right now. Because you're so goofy, who's going to take you seriously?
Wow. And yet folks like Smith probably think it's great that comedian Al Franken is about to become a United States Senator!
*snip*
In the end, as Coulter is out promoting her new book, she is undoubtedly going to be subjected to such rude treatment virtually whereever she goes. It would just be nice if so-called professional journalists could try to hide their disdain.
Is that asking too much?

Snippet:
Smith focused on a section in Coulter's book where she mocked him for asking Ted Kennedy if Barack Obama faces a greater risk of assassination because he is African-American. "Kennedy may be a drunken slob," Coulter wrote, "but unlike CBS news anchors, he is not certifiably insane."
"Here's what's serious about this," Smith explained, pointing to the 1984 assassination of liberal talk show host Alan Berg and the Oklahoma City bombing. "I have looked hate in the eye. I know there are people in this country who would be interested in the death of not only Barack Obama but any president."
Coulter, however, stood firmly by the assertion in her book that every presidential assassin in history has been either "a liberal, a communist, an anarchist" or apolitical and that Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are at far greater risk of assassination than Barack Obama.
"I wouldn't have mentioned that all these presidents assassins were anarchists, communists, liberals -- they were some form of, basically, Obama's base -- other than the fact that everyone keeps talking about Obama being at some unique risk," Colter stated. "So maybe we can stop talking about the 'threat' of right-wing violence in a country that is teaming with left-wing violence."

No, it is not romantic, I — too — grew up in a single parent home, though I had stepfather(s) come and go.

Alan Colmes took NBC's side. "Isn't there like a war going on in the Mideast?" he asked. "Isn't it sometimes you re-book guests because of a war going on?" Nice try, Alan.
There's a reason Colmes is leaving TV. He's a moron.

Well I know that can be very, very tough indeed as well. And for a girl that is a potential a minefield of perils.
Even decades into life, I’m sorting out the resulting issues. And I guess I would be in the luckier percentage.
Going to read Ann’s book. And when I read it I’m sure I’ll be applauding.

“That's so gay” has been in the lexicon of younger people for quite some time.
It has nothing to do with homosexuality.
Just as it didn't a few decades ago.
The homosexuals usurped it from the language and turned it into something despicable so that they could call themselves something the opposite of what they really are.
A little word game.
Well, now the word has been taken from them and used by the youth to mean something is lame, dumb, stupid etc.
From The Urban Dictionary:
Phrase origination: 'That's Gay'.
'
Teh Ghey', is an Internet slang-based phrase, used to express dislike for something, someplace, or something.
'Teh Ghey' has nothing to do with homosexuals/gay people, although some people seem to think so.
"iPods are teh ghey."
"iTunes are teh ghey."
"That movie I went to see last night was teh ghey."
"Trish is annoying. Everything she talks about is teh ghey!!"
So 'Ghey' has nothing to do with homosexuals, although they will still complain about it.
Heck, they stole the word, so now it has been stolen back!

Well, urban dictionary or not, that’s plain silly. If you know ANY teenagers (and I teach at a university) that is EXACTLY what they mean-—”that’s so homosexual.”
