You haven't been reading what Saul Alisky wrote if you think that his dark disciples will allow that to happen. There may be a GOP, but it will be very tightly managed.
In an argument years and years ago, I remember pointing out to a radical feminist that the “Father Knows Best” types are not nearly as totalitarian and fascist as the counterculturalists.
That argument didn’t go over well. Shouldn’t have used the word ‘father.’
