He probably passed just fine initially or they wouldn’t have asked him in the first place - he’s not exactly a political unknown. But I bet that the sudden focus on Bambi and corruption brought about by the Blago follies has just raised the bar a bit, at least for public consumption.
Although, personally, I don’t know why. Dems always get away with corruption, and this will be but another piece of swirling detritus in their great toilet bowl.
