You are so right — I thought I’d followed the Madoff story pretty closely but I missed that one!
From Times Online
December 18, 2008
New SEC chief gave Bernard Madoff’s son a job
Rosie Lavan
Mary Schapiro, Barack Obama’s choice to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), previously appointed one of Bernard Madoff’s sons to a regulatory body that oversees American securities firms.
It has emerged that in 2001, Ms Schapiro, currently chief executive of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra), employed Mark Madoff to serve on the board of the National Adjudicatory Council the division that reviews disciplinary decisions made by Finra.
Last week, Mark Madoff, with his brother, Andrew, were understood to have approached the authorities after their father apparently confessed to orchestrating a $50 billion securities fraud.

That has to be one of the lamest and dumbest statements I have ever heard. And coming from you just makes it even more stupid and lame.
How much do they pay you to troll on all these threads?

Well, crap. I hoped that we would be rid of him.
Well, our loss might be a gain for our National Commerce.

Heh heh.
Richardson probably started thinking about how he squeaked by through Bubba's reign without getting indicted for anything. Then he realized Slick and The Harridan have most of their crew running Bebho PEBOs ship. Remembered that he stabbed the Hildebeast in the back during the primaries. Saw what a bumbling naif Bebho has been with the Blago affair.
Governor Bill's life flashed before his eyes and it was a big neon sign blinking ...

Obama's own Cabinet member: He's an immigrant |
Posted: December 09, 2008
Don't believe Barack Obama's grandmother? Don't believe the ambassador to Kenya? How about Barack Obama's own Cabinet member? That's right – former presidential candidate and Obama's choice for secretary of commerce, Gov. Bill Richardson, slipped up. In an effort to reach out to the Hispanic community, he admitted what Barack Obama has been trying to hide all these months: "Barack Obama is an immigrant." See it for yourself: You don't need a translator to understand what Richardson admitted: Barack Obama is NOT a natural born citizen. That means we have a guy who's planning to take over the White House who is in direct violation of the Constitution. And his own Cabinet member says so. That's pretty big news, one would think. But the media has refused to cover it with anything more than a blurb laced with a "this is ridiculous" tone. It is ridiculous – ridiculous that the Constitution means so little that we can't even ensure that it's being followed. It's ridiculous that the story of the century is being ignored by those whose job it is to report it. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=83114 |

Looks like I’m late to the party... and I guess Bill is leaving a sinking ship before it even leaves the berth?

Darn it. I would have enjoyed all the articles about his creepiness. He seems to have a habit of touching women in strange ways.
