Mama Obama's place of birth has not been called into question as she was an American citizen.
Are you certain? According to an article I just read Grandpa Paine was born in England. He worked for Standard Oil IIRC.
Every other elected office in the state must provide proof they are eligible to run, he said.
"I think the majority of citizens would be shocked there isn't more oversight of candidates by state government," Metcalfe said.
Metcalfe said many of his constituents came to his office asking him about the validity of the lawsuit against Obama. When he and his staff researched the issue, Metcalfe said they were shocked to find out presidential candidates in Pennsylvania don't have to prove that they were born in the United States, or that they are a citizen.
I have read that Obama’s grandfather served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Although sketchy regarding dates the family’s travels within the U.S. were well documented. There is no evidence she travelled outside the U.S. unless it was a trip north to Canada.
Grandpa Payne was born in the U.S. and lived in the U.S. most of his life unless he served in WWI. He managed oil well leases for Standard Oil and his wife was a teacher.
You read that in Obama's book. There is no evidence of that either. Obama says records are not available once again.
I had read the rumor that Ann Dunham had gone to school in the middle east but IIRC girls weren’t admitted to that particular school until the 1970’s. She did go to school in KS before the family moved to WA state, and there is a picture of her and her mother and some of the other women of the family that was taken in KS when Ann was approximately 11 or 12.
If so, that would say she traveled much as a child. WHy? WHere did they get their money? WHy send your only child away to school? Is it related to her grandparents? SO many questions...
Thank-you for your honesty, I appreciate it. I had read that quote which Frank Marshall Davis had written in his autobiography and it made me curious enough that I attempted (in vain) to determine how many students from Kenya attended UH at Manoa. It did pique my interest you can be sure, and from what I have read about Obama Sr your description is accurate that he was a “rake”. He described himself as a serial polygamist, one woman at a time, and while he was attending Harvard he was known as MrDoubleDouble because of his drinking habits.
Stanley Dunham did serve in the military in WWII and acheived the rank of Sgt by the time of his release. He is buried at Punchbowl Cemetary because of his military service! There is also a picture of him on the long thread that shows him holding his six month old daughter when a visit was paid to one of the entertainments put on for soldiers of his unit. RubyR found and posted the picture and the article which accompanied it!
Do you know anything about how POE documents work? Is it US government document? INS (now absorbed into ICE)?
The confusion about Stanley Ann’s place of birth has arisen because two different places have been given for her place of birth depending on what you read. She had been said to have been born in either Ft Leavenworth KS or Witchita KS.
Go away, obot troll.
And if you try to find old pictures of the school to see the type of windows, they are scrubbed off the internet.
What is your thoughts on this Ellis Island find?

I read on a thread today when hunting for SADOS information that grandpa Payne lived in England until he was eighteen. Was not aware that this was even in question, or I would have marked the address. Can’t find it again.
Was he a US citizen living abroad? Is he English? Or is this someone with the same name?
I don’t believe that is the same Roland Payne as Madelyn’s father, the genealogy sites had a entire family history of the Payne family and it didn’t mention that Roland was from England. What it did point out is that the Payne and Dunham families had both at one time owned slaves which would date the families back to arriving in the U.S. prior to the Civil War.
So she went to a school in Oklahoma until first grade then where did she go?
