Well if things pan out in Yellowstone, half the United States will be blown into the ozone layer. I guess it's bound to happen one of these days. Could be 10,000 years from now or it could be tomorrow morning.

I'm betting on somewhere in between.

You know, it can just be a small eruption. Not every event is the end of the world.

Well I hope neither for all our sakes. After it settles down I would like to go visit. I was there once but had a miserable time.

I will visiting in less than 2 weeks. If I don’t stop reading these threads, we may have to re-route that portion of the trip.

Make that trip to Yellowstone, it is a fabulous place. Buffalo have bred to the point of overrunning it but maybe in the last 10 years since I was last there, they have gotten rid of some of them. I was first there about 1952 and we saw herds of elk, mule deer, lots of bears, a few moose and coyotes or wolves, I can’t quite remember which. Ten years ago, it was all buffalo.

Yes, and since a town in Colorado just lost nearly a million gallons of water for no reason, it’s looking like things are shifting hard.

I took my family there last May. It was cold as heck, and it rained off and on for the entire time we were there. Yet,we enjoyed every minute of it. It is a beautiful, mysterious place.

No much worse. I was with a caravan of family and inlaws. People were cold. “Ok you saw the geyser, lets go” Picture taking as we drove. No stopping. I don't like being on other peoples time schedules.

You know...people have to live somewhere...I live 40 miles north of the park....so I guess I’ll be going out with a bang!
Seriously, I pray that this is just a form of Mother nature venting energy...
By the way, People seemed to forget about the swarm of earthquakes around the Las Vegas area in 07...
All though I do agree that history books were made from historical events...maybe this will be one...
