Actually one of Presiding Bishop Hanson's better statement; although coming on the eve of the Feast of the Circumcision and Holy Name of Jesus it could have been strengthened by calling on all parties to bow to the name of the Crucified and Risen Lord (cf Philippians 2:5-11).

Hanson would have had more credibility if he had called for an immediate cease fire as the “palestinians” were extending the range and accuracy of the kassams. His letter today would have more credibility were it over the signature of anyone else.
