Well, the media has been spinning these absurd Obama/Lincoln comparisons, why not make them even more similar. The red states can split from the blue and engage in a whole new Civil War!

Actually if you think about it the red states will fare better because:
A majority of the military bases are in red states, and a majority of the military personell themselves are red staters.
Industry in blue states is floundering, while it’s getting stronger in red states.
Red states has most of the oil reserves and oil refining capacity.
Red states has a more disbursed infrastructure thus lessening the vunerability to attacks.
Red states have few gun control laws.
Etc, etc.
