He has an impressive resume and career - but wait, how can that be? Blacks in America don’t have any opportunity for education or career advancement.. or so we’ve been told.

Smart move. If the senate doesn’t accept the appointment, they’ll be racists.

WLS had the Sec or State Jesse White (a good guy by many standards) about a week ago who said his office would have to certify any appointment (not clear on his power) and that he would not certify anyone that Blogo appointed.

From Wiki (taken with grain of salt):
He was National Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer for Operation PUSH from January to October 1977.

Regardless of the impressive career, this may be his link to Rev Jesse Jackson, or even ties to Congressman JJJr. Welfare pimping and racial blackmail have been some well-documented hallmarks of Operation PUSH and the good Rev'rund.

LOL. Blago story gets better each day. Liberal Dems and their gigantic egomania, the gift that keeps of giving. Culture of Corruption, anyone...

Nancy Pelosi, 2006 video: Pelosi on Rep. Jefferson

Pelosi: "A culture of corruption is a system in this Congress of the United States that the Republicans have instituted. The Washington Post has called it a "criminal enterprise operating out of" the Republican Leader's office. It is about all the Republican Caucus enabling their Caucus to have a strong link to the lobbying community at the expense of America's consumers. In the case of Mr. Jefferson, I think the Ethics Committee should investigate him. It is his private matter, and he should be investigated because of the stories that have been in the press and the guilty plea."

I don’t know too much about this guy but at least it’s not Jesse Jew-hatin’ Jackson Junior or that welfare queen enabler Valerie Jarrett. I guess we’ll learn more but those two need to be kept out of the senate by any means necessary.

WEEK-TV

Profitting From Governor Scandal Selling Senate Seats By WEEK Reporter By Denise Jackson ,p>Story Updated: Dec 29, 2008 at 4:51 PM CST

One local shopping center has used the plight of Governor Blagojevich as a marketing pitch for its products. Now, a Metro Centre jeweler hopes to make a profit off selling senate seats.

If you shopped there during the holiday season you may have noticed signs with the slogan "we sell everything but senate seats".

That was the case until recently when Pettet Jewelry storeowner Brad Pettet decided to make senate seat charms for sale with a donation.

"There's not use sitting around going oh jeez you know Illinois politics it's so depressing. Because everybody I've mentioned it to so far just thinks it's hysterica", Pettet said.

The senate seat charms will be available in sterling silver, gold and platinum.

The lowest donation accepted will be for 35–dollars which will get a sterling silver charm. Find this article at: http://www.week.com/news/local/36849669.html

Wonder if Obambi had anything to do with the nomination? You never know. Too bad he’s not a Republican. Oh, I forgot, being a Republican in Chicago means the same thing as being a Democrat in Chicago.
