You do understand that the voice is an imitation of “activist” Rev Al Sharpton using a megaphone.

I didn't -- thanks for the clarification. But it still doesn't work. It's just not funny.

Now, consider something like this:

Barack, the Magic Negro
looks just like me.
Agrees with me on everything,
And I get it all for free.

He's better than Abe Lincoln
and JFK by far
he'll cool the earth, adopt a dog,
and heal Myanmar

{refrain}

Just by being elected,
O's restored America's place
not even in the office yet
what munificence and grace...

and so on.... The humor of Obama is all in the gushing.

Whether any of us "like" the parody or not is secondary and personal opinion...all of which is fine to comment on.

The main point is how CNN and others are now reporting on this...no mention of the LA Times creating the original story and title, no mention of Rev Al's actual comments. Just a proclamation that this type of hate speech can be heard every day on conservative talk radio.

The story being conjured up by the MSMs is aimed at conservative talk radio, Rush specifically...not the RNC. Whether we like the parody or not, we have to rally behind the facts and help get the word out.

I do like your version, FYI... :)
