Imagine if President Bush was in Hawaii vacationing while we are heading into a recession. The headlines would be scandalous complete w/starving kids on the front page. The obamedia left pathetic months ago.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Coolidge is a grossly underrated man. His only rival for most rhetorically conservative President in the 20th century would be Reagan, but Coolidge presided over a govt. far more consistent with conservative values than did Reagan. He didn’t need to go in for showoff “athleticism,” nor did most common Americans of his day, because hard physical work, lack of couch-potato entertainment, and walking everywhere made the average American then far slimmer and fitter than the average person today.
Obama bowled a 37...nuff said
DNC fax machine is spreading their talking points to all the media outlets.
“Ohhhh, look at what an Adonis he is!!!!”
They sound like a bunch of 8th grade girls at a boy band concert.
Do they realize how much they are embarrassing themselves?
No.
Got a feeling he’s going to spend a lot of time “out of the office.”
RACIST!
Bush exercised for health reasons and because he liked it.
Obama exercises to look good. (but doesn’t)

“Fit Republican president = Selfish, indulgent, creepy fascist.
Fit Democratic president = Disciplined, health-conscious, Adonis role model.”
It wasn't cheating at golf that gave him notoriety
Calvin Coolidge: The least athletic president to inhabit the White House
I think FDR would have been the least athletic.
Ø was a bench warmer on his championship HS BB team. I wonder how his time running the mile compares with W’s before W’s knees gave out. His hoops options should be limited at the WH, but there is exercise equipment and a track there. W’s time were reported during his first term, although I don’t have them at my fingertips. Someone should compare them the first time the MSM try to brag about Ø’s.

Oh man, Arnold must have really gotten under the spindly-O’s skin. Obama is a girly man. Hehehehehe.
I wonder if he ever reads any books, and if so, what kind. Bush reads lots of books - about one a week - history especially.
We have heard that 0bama likes comics. What a sickening little piece of crap he is.
Shedding the pinko-commie-girly-man image won’t be a cake walk. He is very feminine and very pinko.
Personally, I’d much prefer a portly, but conservative, Wm H. Taft than a buff leftist Øbama.

I would prefer Ulysses S. Grant DRUNK to any kind of Obama!

Silent Cal! I love the story about Coolidge and his wife visiting the poultry farm. “Tell that to the First Lady”.
Your tagline is disrespectful...to Richard Milhous Nixon.
The average American in Coolidge’s day was far slimmer and probably more fit than most fitness instructors today. I recently watched the movie “Reefer Madness” on television and the thing that I could not stop thinking was that there were zero fat people in that movie. The average waistline must have been 12 inches smaller than today.
I don’t remember much before 1950 but I know how fit and skinny people were in the fifties and I know how even sixty year olds often did hard labor all day long, only the most fit of fitness buffs and professional athletes would have a chance of matching them now. As a teenager my idea of a relaxing Sunday afternoon was walking five miles or more, mostly through the woods. If we got a chance to go to the lake and swim we stayed in the water for hours. Come fall we cut wood with a long two man saw and an axe. Young people now have no idea about such things.
