Egyptian border guards have opened fire on Palestinians who breached the border to escape Israel's assault on Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
An Egyptian security official said there were at least five breaches along the nine-mile border and hundreds of Palestinian residents were pouring in.
At least 300 Egyptian border guards have been rushed to the area to reseal the border, the official added on condition on anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the press.
A resident of the Gaza Strip side of the border, Fida Kishta, said that Egyptian border guards opened fire to drive back the Palestinians.

I'm so very tired of hearing this bullsh*t. We can talk about immigration all day and decry the illegal nature of it, but MOST immigrants are law abiding and have nothing to do with drugs or any other crime. They are here to make money they can't make at home doing jobs that AMERICANS ARE TOO LAZY TO DO.
I'm white, 4-5 generation American, southerner, so don't accuse me of a huge bias of some sort. Immigration is a problem but I'm just sick of hearing the hysteria about immigrants being drug dealers and "kidnappers" of our children.

I would, if they were remotely connected to anything human. These walking piles of feces desecrate all that they cast their loathesome eyes upon. The air they breathe out is poisoned with hate and all things ugly. The majority of them are direct spawn of Satan, and Cthulu is their God, for they run through the streets, laughing and rejoicing and killing and making merry of the havoc and hatred that they breed.
I found that I had had at least one other person (maybe two) who had used my ID and filed under my number!!!!
That's a felony, no more than two, one to steal the ID another to buy and use it. No "law abiding person" does either.
Why do I have to tolerate that to be "loving"?
I needed to get some inoculations to visit a South American country for a short term mission and was told by my doctor to visit my local county health department as they had them and wound up being cheaper than using my own doctor. I went to the Co. department and guess what, it was filled to the brim with moms and dads with little ones (of course only Spanish spoken not only by the visitors but also by the staff). I waited for 2 1/2 hrs on a work day to get two shots. All others were getting "well baby visits" for free (my shots cost $50.00 paid for by me.)
Sorry friend, I'm not anti-Hispanic as I serve many charities that only serve Hispanic "migrants" but I'd rather do that in their own country than them being here illegally using my stolen IDs to be "hard working."
You may believe your liberal lies if you want, America used to have a system that worked well in the 50s. Only when liberals became of age and decided that other countries were NOT the best places for people with no skills to live and work - but in America with Americans paying the bills.

This is a bit of a heart-warming story. 10 years ago we were contacted by the Soc. Sec. Admin. Apparently, some illegal was using my son’s #. He had filed a tax return. We assured them our 10 year old son was not working, etc. To make a long story short, we enjoyed that $900 tax return check. They did follow up and assured us they had taken care of the “problem”.
One perp was found working in a state a few hundred miles from my hometown. Don't know the outcome but I'm sure that the "perp" was NOT prosecuted or deported.
In the other case, we (actually they, the SSA) "think" it was used by one person for a short span of time who either left the country or died but they cannot assure me that it is not in the hands of others who aren't working right now or even that only one other person rather than more were using it as the work history was spotty, in different locations and dissimilar jobs.

Funny that, isn't it? I too have an acquaintence who was Palistinian and very nice......until he found out that my other half is Jewish....
Some posters complain of de-humanizing the Palestinians, as if there is the possibility of lowering the esteem of a people raised from birth to trick, lie to, and whenever possible exterminate their neighbor.
How many mothers took money from Saddam or one of the many state sponsored terrorist groups to strap a bomb vest on their own child, with instructions to die while murdering some other mother's child, then spent that money - Satan's Paycheck - without remorse, I do not know.
But I don't see how anyone could de-humanize a mother like that, nor the society that condones, indeed, showers blessings on and lionize such inhuman and horrificly evil practices, while every one of murderers are considered national heroes.
