I dont think there is anything wrong with it, per se. It depends on the circumstances, and the person. I would not want a President to do it. Then again, I would not want a President to dress like me. Not only will he be Head of Govt, he will be Head of State, which carries with it representing the US in matters of tradition and culture etc.

Why not? The POTUS is just a person. Someone who is just like me. He doesn't walk on water. He is my representative. He serves at my directives. That is why the majority voted for him. Or at least, that's the way it's supposed to be.
