We have all been annoyed by the backward-hat crowd, whether pulling up alongside us with blaring music, sauntering around in crappy clothes at the malls, and just plain looking stupid. Just saw on MSNBC our President-Elect saunter out of a store in a white t-shirt and blue jogging pants with his hat on backwards and a scowl on his face. When he saw a crowd, he reached up and turned his hat around the right way and broke into a big toothy smile as he went up to shake hands with the totally young crowd all pleased with their Messiah.
I guess we got be happy dat da bro don't have no gold tooth or no tattoos an' piercin's, yunnastan?
LOL...don’t drink lattes but have to admit while raising my son when I was in the Army I told him that wearing his hat backwards reduced his IQ by half and made him look like a dumb@ss. Still feel that way.
During the runup to the election my wife and myself referred to Obama as the “Street Punk”. Seems to us today that we were correct in our observation.
You have never seen a two brimmed hat to keep the sun off the neck and eyes at the same time??? It just seems so childish and sophomoric to chat about how people wear their hat or if they smoke or whatnot.
Heck if the whole reason for wearing the hat backwards is to keep the sun off your neck then this hat is even better. Not only keeps it off your neck but out of your eyes. And it has the added benefit of making you look like even more of a dumbass than having your hat on backwards.
Wear that thing backwards and you’ll always be bumping into stuff.

We are not at the point...yet... but if I was doing anyting that became strongly associated with Hitler in 1934 I would stop doing it. Even if I had been doing it before Hitler was born.
No big deal in this case though. I wear baseball caps almost 100% of the time outside when not at work or church and sometimes backwards when they would otherwise fall off.

Common, face it. Backward hats are just a fad, and one which long ceased to be original or daring. Besides, they definitely have associations with urban gang culture.
At least the backward hat can be easily changed. I think a lot of people are going to regret their tattoos and piercings in a few years, and the plastic surgeons are going to make millions undoing that stuff.
That’s a fake pic if I ever saw one. Look at the pixellation artifacts around the edges of the hat. Also the cigarette is not far enough in his mouth to be actually real.
That picture of comrade Obama will make a dandy cat box liner at our house.
Yet at the same time the general public thinks that the heavens have parted and anointed one has been bestowed on us from on high. Washington DC won’t have enough buses, subway cars or porta-potties to accommodate all the folks who want to stand for 8 to 10 hours to glimpse Mr. hat-on-backwards.
The classical writers and thinkers warned us about the dangers of pure democracy aka mob rule.
Turns out - they were right.
If I was a leftist and been one to voted for him my biggest argument to these types of threads would be this “Is that the best you can do?You can’t think of anything bad about him so you gotta dis him about the clothes he wears or that he smokes? That just goes to show how shallow and elitist you pugs are. You think the clothes makes the man?I have heard better insults at a teenage slumber party. Bring some substance to the table if you have any. At leats he doesn’t wear a cowboy hat like the chimp”. Now do you understand why I think all this chatter is so childish? It brings us down on their level and I think we are and should be above that!
If you are older than 10 years old and not a catcher, wearing a baseball cap backwards makes you look old, stupid, and foolish. If it's a designer cap, it makes you look not only foolish, but fiduciary irresponsible.
The only legitimate reason to wear a baseball cap backwards in style might be to emulate a black gangsta because one covets their lifestyle, popularity, and association with being street-tough. Of course those who wore them in an eccentric fashion, tended to wear them to the right or to the left, to either communicate directions to others or to indicate gang affiliation.
On the other hand, from the Urban Dictionary: "Wearing your baseball hat backwards means your ready to perform oral sex immediately (don't have to waste time to turn the bill out of the way). "
I'm just waiting for 0bama to begin hanging a red or blue bandana out his hip pocket. Let the gang wars begin.

I’m disgusted by 0bama’s “hat trick” because it’s just another gimmick of his. The man is a complete phony and everything he does is a pose done to impress the stupid and gullible. Also, the office of the Presidency deserves dignity and maturity, not just as a matter of style, but in order to show our enemies and friends that our govt. is run by adults and they mean business. People like Putin, the Chinese, and the Islamofascists know this guy is a lighweight punk, and we will all suffer the consequences.

Here’s another thing. I’m getting tired of lightweight, narcissistic, stupid “Presidents” who flaunt their exercise mania, wearing jogging pants in public, running and biking for miles, etc. I can’t think of any jogging Pres. who was much good. The first one was Carter, then we had Clinton, compassionate socialist Bush, and now hip-hop 0bama. Theoretically exercise is good for the brain, but you wouldn’t know it from these guys. Rush Limbaugh is overweight and smokes, but would make a much better Pres. than all these exercise nuts put together.
The man elected to the most powerful position in the world in history and held to protect 300 million Americans and potentially charged with upholding the freedom of billions in the world goes around wearing his hat backwards. Did I mention this man walks around with a briefcase that contains the codes that could destroy the world in a nuclear inferno?
