Minn. Court Denies Coleman Suit on 'Duplicate' Votes @ 3:15 pm by Michael O'Brien
The Minnesota Supreme Court unanimously rejected a suit by Sen. Norm Coleman (R) on Wednesday that sought to prevent a state board from certifying election results Coleman had alleged includes errors.
In a 5-0 decision, the court ruled that the state's Board of Canvassers had the authority to certify election results that might have included so-called duplicate ballots.
The Coleman campaign had claimed that such ballots, created by local election officials to mirror original ballots that were somehow damaged, were sometimes counted twice by accident, and should not be included.
Because the resolution of [Colemans] is better suited to an evidentiary hearing and fact-finding, the decision of the State Canvassing Board was not in error and the relief requested by [Coleman] is denied, Associate Justice Alan C. Page wrote for the court.
The ruling deals a blow to the Republicans campaign, which has sought to overcome the 46-vote lead Democratic challenger Al Franken has now secured in the hotly contested race.

Continue the recount until the Democrat wins.
Harry Reid has said that the Republican, or anyone sent by the Republicans, will not be allowed to be seated. This brings up some stirring language from the original Declaration of Independence.
“He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
“He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the legislative powers, incapable of annihilation, have returned to the people at large for their exercise; the state remaining in the meantime exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.”
OUR GOVERNMENT IS COMING VERY CLOSE TO LOSING ITS LEGITIMACY.
Most of the judges on the MN Supreme Court were appointed by Pawlenty (a Republican). Just FYI.
I hope he appeals it to the USSC! For a while we have the court. At least, I hope we do. Until Obama takes over and then it’s all over.
That's the democRat way in the good ole USA. They learn from people like Joe Stalin very well.

...and they did.
And why should he not be?
It's happening, as they say, 'on his watch.'
The fix is in. If it’s close, the Dims win.
Number three—except that the “jury” consists entirely of judges.
Another stolen election in a Dem state and the obamedia shows its absolute corruption by not questioning this.
Merry Christmas
“My MN brother tells me his entire in-law set of relatives say they would rather vote for a MONKEY before they could ever pull the lever for a GOP candidate.”
Well, fine. I for one will pay close attention to any product I buy or service I employ. If the selling company is in Minnesota, I will refuse to do business with them.
To be sure, it’s a small gesture on my part, but maybe, just maybe, one of your a$$hole in-laws will lose a few bucks.
It’s a procedural question. They are saying it’s an issue to be decided in a challenge filed after the results are certified.
Yes, true, but to the people of MN beauty is in the eye of the voter! Walter F. Mondale’s choice wins after all!
This also shows the lack of power of the governor of MN. They have long spoken of how little power the governor of TX has too.
“What the heck is going on in Minnesota?”
Minnesota is just Chicago without good restaurants. Politically, they are soul mates. Leftist and corrupt to the nth degree.
“Dont worry folks. This wont last long. In a couple years, just running against a Democrat will result in tax audits, intense media scrutiny, and a proctological exam by every alphabet agency in DC.”
Running against a Democrat will be considered a hate crime.
“What stage are we in?”
Probably somewhere between 3 and 4.
