“I really hope they can all be together in Camp David.”
Me too. One last family Christmas at Camp David. I'm sure this is a bitter-sweet Christmas for them.

I wish each of you and your families a blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.
Thank you to all who post the Dose! You bring so much happiness to the rest of us. Your hard work is truly appreciated.
And, thank you, to Jim Robinson and Kristinn for your patriotism and for this wonderful forum.
To: Kaslin
Thank you for those wonderful pictures and quotes.
As an aside, are there any plans to keep Daily Dose threads around even after President Bush leaves office? I hate to think there may be no more threads devoted to this great American.

Just thinking from some of these photos, that President Bush is looking very tired.
I then tried to think of another western leader who led his/her country for seven plus years during wartime. No name came to mind.
He deserves a long and happy retirement.
God bless you, sir!

President Bush is enjoying Christmas with his family at Camp David.
Today the President called members of the Armed Forces who are deployed around the world. (Transcript)
The President made telephone calls this morning to exemplary members of the Armed Forces who are stationed in remote locations worldwide to wish them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and to thank them for their service to our Nation.
