If the snow is inside the city, they used to haul it away and dump it into a nearby lake or river, otherwise they just push it off to the side of the road. Nowadays, I’m not sure if that is still done. I don’t live up there any longer so I’m not sure what they do.

I will certainly give you a copy of my book - if I can get it published. I'm trying to get the first draft done while I'm here and it's all right in front of me. Then, when I get home for good, I'll clean it up and try to get an agent.

I've been keeping journals ever since I got here nearly five years ago.

So far, while there have been many exciting moments, the first Election Day, January 30, 2005 remains one of the most fascinating experiences of my life.
