Can you hear him? I can’t get volume.
Doug,,,Josh is incredible... go to you tube and listen to celtic woman sing O Holy Night... Awesome.
That *is* good stuff. Have it in my ipod Christmas mix for the last year or two.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
He’s one of the few males singers that can perform that particular song.
Too often celebrities think that they must embellish and modify the classics in order to put on a show. (Just think of the travesty they make of the Star Spangled Banner at sports events!)
This, however, is a good version, sung with simplicity and purity, as it should be done. The only thing better is if you and your neighbors in church will sing this on Christmas Eve, with the lights lowered. The only thing better is if you all would sing it in the original German but then I guess that I would be asking too much!
Gotta agree with you Doug. Thanks for posting!
I was sitting in a Jason’s Deli of all places two years ago and (barely) heard O Holy Night playing . . . after a little research I discovered the name of the song, heard the Prestonwood Baptist Choir do an awesome rendition, and it instantly became one of my CHRISTmas classics.
Thanks for posting this, DFU....it’s beautiful.
I was pleased to see they had David Phelps and Pavarotti videos. David Phelps is one of our favorites although this video did not do him justice. Also love Pavarotti.
Thanks for posting this Doug!!!
Wonderful!
I have all of his CD’s, I love his voice.
The Christmas CD is the best.
Just listened to it, Doug, thanks so much. Wow, what a voice, wow, what a song.
Should be required viewing for every Christian-basher.

It's a musical "perfect fit".
The favorite Christmas song at 668. Last night we were listening to it on youtube, in recording by Enrico Caruso and video with Renee Fleming.

this has been one of my favorites since i heard it a few years back. a christmas staple along with “christmas wrapping” by the waitresses and “god rest ye merry gentlemen” by the barenaked ladies.
I also really like "Lo how a rose e'er blooming". Wonderful harmonies there too.
I didn’t know there were men who were fans of Josh Grobin or whatever his name is.
