There are so many good things about McCain on the personal level.
But as a politician, he’s an idiot.
Who’s going to run against him in the primary in AZ? We need a good conservative candidate to support with our hard earned money.

I have the utmost respect for him as a person, but if I had to watch one more debate where I could have easily taken Obama apart (and McCain missed the obvious openings and failed to do so), my head would explode

So true. Thanks to early voting by liberal east coast RHINOS, he was our rep this year. McCain Feingold campaign finance reform alone is enough to discredit his political will. It seems like he would prefer one big happy party, not two. Hmmm.

maybe - but I suspect he is playing the odds which are that Obama will muddle through the Chicago mess, and birth certificate matter. IMO he wants to be on the record as one with whom Obama can deal.
