In a surprising rebuke to the warriors who fought for him through tough times, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday sided with President-elect Barack Obama and scolded the Republican National Committee for fanning the Illinois corruption scandal.
On ABCs This Week, host George Stephanopoulos asked: The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Mike Duncan, has been highly critical of the way President- elect Obama has dealt with this.
"He's had a statement every single day, saying that the Obama team should reveal all contacts they've had with Governor [Rod] Blagojevich. He says that Obama's promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested. Do you agree with that?
McCain replied: I think that the Obama campaign should and will give all information necessary. You know, in all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together, not only on an issue such as this, but on the economy stimulus package, reforms that are necessary. And so, I don't know all the details of the relationship between President-elect Obama's campaign or his people and the governor of Illinois, but I have some confidence that all the information will come out. It always does, it seems to me.

Boy, did you ever get that right.
There is no new information here. McCain has been a complete and utter dirtball for decades.
Dear McLame:
SHUTUP!
You are just like a fart in church.
All you had to do was put up with about 20 seconds of Stuffenenvelopes and you'd had it.
McCain is obviously suffering from Stockholm Syndrome ~ gone over all the way to the Obamanation.
Man like that could do anything.
Thanks for the advice, Mr Second Place. I’ll take it to heart.
... and has been since before the 2000 election.
His record is quite clear to those that care to read it.
As padre35 said in post #57 ... we have been infested with these infected tick like beings, and we'd all need to be immolated to remove them now. The old cigarette treatment won't even bother them.
That’s what I was thinking....besides, he’s sounding like one of those ‘can’t we all get along crowd’ ready to compromise values.
Sorry McCain, the job of White House Boot-licker has already been filled by Chris Matthews.
RINOs are RINOs. Why is that such a difficult concept to understand.
We should prepare to run Republicans next time!
Senator McCain:
Shut up and do something about Sarah’s church:

Thanks!
Yes I voted for you.
Senator McCain, you have served this great nation since you were a young adult and sacrificed more than can be imagined. After a lifetime of service, it is time to enjoy retirement. Please.
No. I can't possibly stomach McCain anymore.
All you had to do was put up with about 20 seconds of Stuffenenvelopes and you'd had it.
That's 20 seconds more than I could take.
McCain is obviously suffering from Stockholm Syndrome ~ gone over all the way to the Obamanation.
I'm putting it down to survival skills. He's learned to "adapt". Of course, that means he's never coming back. Attrition has won in McCain's case.
Man like that could do anything.
Like help champion making citizens out of 15 million invaders. Yes. I can see that.
Imagine the confidence that Snuffleufagus had in asking that question of McCain. He knew he could trust John to bash the RNC. Do you think he would have asked Newt or Delay the same question?
That is McNuts.
We did. That's what we have.
Look, the man graduated dead last in his class. His father was an officer, that tells me his father pulled strings to get him graduated at all.
It is this (and I hate to give Politico the satifaction): McCain is compelled to put himself through ritual purification every time he’s beaten.
There is little that can be done about McCain now. There is, however, something that can be done to the RNC: require future RNC primaries be closed to anyone registered as a Republican for at least 6 months prior to the primary.
I bet she's already done that ten-times over.
