So.. does it suck because it actually sucks or does it suck because you disagree with the environmental overtones?

Everyone said "The day after tomorrow" sucked because of the global warming crap in it, but as a movie, it rocked.

See, you don't have to agree with the theories espoused in a film in order to enjoy it.

The global warming crap is just that.. crap. It does not detract from the effects or the acting or the production values.

Did you just imply that a Keanu Reeves movie might have good acting? You funny!

Some people require more out of a movie than pretty digital effects.

No really, it sucked. Global Warming or no GW, the dialog was lame and the storyline was abstract. The effects were fairly well standard for the time. Tons of CG doesn’t make a great movie.

No. It just makes the story pathetically stupid and offensive, thus rendering the film unwatchable. "The Happening" had the same inane theme of "humans get what they deserve for hurting the environment". Honestly, I don't understand what kind of wretched soul can produce this crap.

You have got to be kidding? That movie was the biggest steaming pile since Deep Impact!

If a movie has any politically correct content to it, such as man made global warming, I refuse to watch it. I don’t care who’s in it, who directed it, or who produced it. I’m not alone. There are millions of people just like me. Hollywood doesn’t seem to care. Kind of like all the major news papers going broke because no one wants to read their bias bull shit.

“The day after tomorrow” rocked?

Hmmmm...I thought it was so-so. Good special effects, but a terribly silly story. Decent family angle, but way too preachy with the enviro-nazi message.

No “The Day After Tomorrow” sucked because it was really really BAD! Cool special effects with moronic plotline. Just dumb!

Sure it does... When you put crap into something, you get crap out. It's based on crap...Based on that, it's crap.

Hard to believe they're allowed to butcher good classics with their politically correct garbage. It really ruins it.

They could never come close to the real classic, the one and only, "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

Day After Tomorrow was the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my life— irrespective of its environmental message.

It sucked. We just saw it and it was a real snoozer. The PC reeked but that wasn’t the problem. My 12-yr old daughter said it had no “oomph”.

Flat, boring, stupid movie. And we like Reeve and any kind of sci fi.

Do NOT recommend.

Get real. The only reason anyone watches these flicks is the special effects. "Acting," "Production values?" Fuhgeddit. How were the catastrophe scenes?

Agreed. And I happen to like Dean Cain as an actor.

Speak for yourself. I don't enjoy being patronized by Hollywood liberals. I won't support their BS productions.
