Canyon County (ID) Commissioner Apologizes for Obama Email

CALDWELL, IDAHO --

Canyon County Commissioner Steve Rule is receiving criticizing for sending an email comparing Michelle Obama to a black widow spider.

Jill Karaitis of New West.net broke the story after receiving the email from an anonymous source. She calls the email racist and outrageous.

"It's a typical racist email disguised as humor. But it's not funny," Karaitis told Today's Channel 6 News.

Karaitis thinks Rule’s apology is a cop-out, and she thinks this just reinforces Idaho’s racist reputation.

“People don’t understand it’s not one incident. It’s accumulative affect of these things coming out of Idaho,” she said.

before giving up. Then I typed the same into Yahoo Images and bam.

I rarely use Google anymore, they don't deserve my business.
