I noticed. He looks like he thinks she's stupid and how much he'd like to bonk her.

She's a great advocate for the second amendment, very moving testimony.

Cheesedick Chuckie would soil himself in the presense of a real assault rifle barking out a full magazine or two.

This woman and her testimony were the catalyst for Texas passing Right to Carry.

Since passage, violent crime has gone down in Texas, as well as in every other state that has passed it.

That’s great news. Small comfort for her, I’m sure, but it must help. Good work.

After the Holidays I’m planning to finally get trained and armed. It seems irresponsible not to.

The criminal New Orleanians that came here during Katrina thought that all the stories about Texas gun use were a myth.

A large number of them have found out that they were sadly mistaken - and that we’re not willing to put up with their crap when they break into houses or attempt to jack cars.

Hit send too soon.

Especially amusing is the outcry of the survivors when they find out that having your criminal loved one get shot and killed does NOT mean that you’ve won the lawsuit lotto in Texas.

I’ve watched that many times, but worth a watch one more time. Especially the part at the end. It makes me think of the words of George Mason:

“I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials.”

I think those few public officals that George was talking about were people like Shumer and Blagojavich who is apparently a big anti-gunner and now has to turn in his weapons. I hope the good governor not only has to turn his weapons in, but is kept away from all sharp objects and belts. I want to hear what he has to say (when he cuts his deal with the feds) and I don’t want him to be room temperature before he gets his chance to say it.

Likewise with our judicial system and the death penalty.

As Ron White says, “If you kill someone in Texas, we will kill you back.”

The ones that survived the commission of their crime do not seem to be enjoying the hospitality of our jails very much.

Apparently nobody in Louisiana ever told them that jail was supposed to be an unpleasant place with few amenities. Several have lodged complaints about their treatment - for example, they believe the fact that they do not have individual TVs is cruel and unusual punishment.

I have yet to hear of anyone agreeing. I suspect that they will be leaving Texas at maximum speed the moment they are let out.
