Can you point to the words in that document that says the governor talked to Obama about the replacement?
In the heading, it says he congratulated Obama and discusses the Senate seat. That information is all on one line. The announcement doesn’t say who the governor discussed the Senate seat with, but it is part of the phrase that says he congratulated Obama.
Who knows what the heck it means? I just think it’s interesting that on Nov. 5, this information appears on the governor’s website.
