KHQA then denies knowledge that such the meeting actually took place.
“The story housed in our website archive was on the morning of November 5, 2008. It suggested that a meeting was scheduled later that day between President Elect Obama and Illinois Governor Blagojevich. KHQA has no knowledge that any meeting ever took place. Governor Blagojevich did appear at a news conference in Chicago on that date.”

I’ve got the other one that said he had a meeting.
Fox reported that “no direct conversations took place between O and Blago.” So, let’s see, what would an “indirect conversation” be??
Another screen shot of a different later article from the same source uses the past tense verb “met”.
They did meet. This source reported they “met.”
Yeah? So what about the one that was posted a few days later that said they HAD met?
So were they sloppy reporters then, or liars now?
For fairness sake I’d like to correct my original post. I wrote “documented a November 5th meeting of Blago and Zero.” Please change to read “documented a SCHEDULED November 5th meeting of Blogo and Zero.” At this time I have no direct evidence that the meeting occurred. I believe it IS of interest to the community that a news organization pulled the copy of a story that made the inference, and did so soon after Blago’s arrest. Further note the reference on this thread to the Obama website’s repetition of the same story. Meeting or not, something stinks at KHQA.
WOW... that is really scary. I cannot believe that this is happening in our America. The liberals are pushing it in a very dangerous way.
There’s a recurring theme in news reports that “[insert media outlet here] has no knowledge that any meeting ever took place.”
Even the NY Post has such a disclaimer in one of today’s story.
Think the Obama sent the troops in to mau-mau the MSM?
