A thought just occurred to me and I want to share it here. Given that America is at war (American troops are deployed in the war on terror, Iraq, and Afghanistan), is it wise to go for this agenda of attempting to hamstring Mr. Obama?
Let’s say that the eligibility question is resolved, and Mr. Obama’s presidency is known to be legitimate beyond reasonable doubt. In the current state of war, how can we support the Commander-in-Chief and at the same time relentlessly go after his corruption, ties to terrorists, etc?
Your thoughts appreciated.
Oooops sorry wrong messiah.
Vilify him vilify him vilify him
President Bush managed to do pretty well, even with half the nation against him. Hussien is just going to have to make do. Plus, I don't think the ONE will have to worry about conservatives boycotting recruiting stations and all the other garbage the left occupied itself with over the last 6 years.
I would, however, pay $10.00 to see what would happen if some moonbat stuck her “Bloody Hands” in S.O.S. Hillary's face like they did Condi’s.
You’re kidding, right?
In 1973 we were fighting a war. Let us give Obama the support Nixon got.
If Mr. Obama gets hamstrung, he will have done it to himself. The military has never had much support from the Democrats anyway.
.......is it wise to go for this agenda of attempting to hamstring Mr. Obama?.......
Very simple...trust General Petreus. He will fight the war. That’s his job.
I don’t know, why don’t you ask the Democrats? They should know first hand after 8 years of doing just that to “W”.
The phrase "all enemies foreign and domestic" comes to mind. An elected official involved in corruption is no friend of the constitution.
“Agenda?” You mean, like upholding the rule of law?
Are you seriously suggesting that serious criminal activity be ignored because you don’t want to undermine military morale or resolve? Our troops are not fighting on behalf of a single man; they’re fighting for our country, our way of life, our constitution, our freedoms, all secured by the rule of law. We owe it to them to uphold it.
Another thing: Obama is not the Commander in Chief yet. Our troops and our country know damn well if their Commander in Chief is worthy of their loyalty—with or without an investigation. Troop morale and military resolve cannot be bought with a blind eye and coverups. They’re earned.
” how can we support the Commander-in-Chief and at the same time relentlessly go after his corruption, ties to terrorists, etc?”
If my commander is known to be a corrupt lieing cheating bastard, how can I possibly maintain my honor and respect myself while executing his orders?
