The corruption arrest of Gov. Rod Blagojevich is raising questions about what Sen. Barack Obama knew of the Illinois Democrat's alleged activities, including his apparent offer to appoint Obama's preferred candidate to serve in the U.S. Senate in return for "private sector" help from Obama.
"This is a burgeoning crisis for Obama that should shake his presidency to its core," said Tom Fitton, chief of the Judicial Watch organization today.
"The criminal complaint filed today indicates that Obama and his team knew about Blagojevich's efforts to sell Obama's Senate seat," he said.
"Did Obama report Blagojevich to investigators about any efforts to sell his Senate seat?" Fitton asked.
ABC's Jake Tapper also expressed concern over the same issue.
On his blog, he wrote that while appearances seem to indicate Obama "refused to go along with the 'pay to play'" Blagojevich plan, there were significant questions.
For example, he wondered "how Blagojevich knew that Mr. Obama was not willing to give him anything in exchange for the Senate seat – with whom was Blagojevich speaking? Did that person report the governor to the authorities?"

As far as I know being accused or even charged with corruption will not prevent Barak "the redeemer" from his appointed date with destiny. He will be sworn in no doubt.

I saw that..and Mancow (as a Chicago home boy with guts) also speculated that Obama is in this up to his neck - but Doocey & Kilmeade put a gag on his mouth on both speculations - and as the camera panned away - Mancow had a look of disgust as if he realized Fox folks have been told not to “beat up on ‘Bama”
You don’t think that the constant attacks by the Left, the MSM, Academia, the Dems, etc, are responsible for harming the mission and responsible for the deaths of American troops?

This morning Fox & Friends had that Mancow on out of Chicago.
Mancow mentioned people up there talking about Durbin and Obama involved in this. Whoa, the reaction was a look of fear on the friends faces and strong denial that anything says Obama was involved.
Pathetic. They looked like total fools. All of this denial and failure to even question the ties between these Chicago crooks is sickening.
If nothing else, Mancow won’t be invited back any time soon.
Obama will be protected by the media. They will not let the Messiah be asked difficult questions.
I don't think you'll be hearing all the defeatist “quagmire”,” another Vietnam”, “unwinnable”, and “baby killer” garbage. That is the kind of crap that emboldens the enemy.
