I dismissed this all as kook stuff myself, until I started trying to figure out why the paternal grandmother says she actually witnessed Barack Obama being born in Kenya. Then the Hawaii thing was shown to be easily falsified, because anyone could register for a birth certificate in Hawaii in 1961, regardless of where they were born. Only when Jerome Corsi was arrested and deported while in Kenya investigating did I really start suspecting something sinister.

My thought is this, why spend so much money to hide this?

Between us, I suspect there really is something to it. I just think that realistically and politically, to try and force this issue will backfire in a massive way-—especially if it is successful. He’s not going anywhere. But it would not surprise me to find he wasn’t a legal citizen.

I’ve been doing some research because some of those issues you mentioned concerned me. About the Grandmother—what she said was in her language, not English, and it COULD be translated to mean literally “born in Kenya”, but it really is a phrase which means “son of this place”, not actually born there, but, “spiritually” born there.

And the law about registering a birth in Hawaii if the kid wasn’t born there didn’t take effect until 1980 something. I think it was ‘82, so it didn’t apply when O was born.
